Etienne de Lasteyrie is a graduate of Magistère Banque-Finance (Assas University) and holds a DESS in corporate and financial institution finance. After starting his carrier with strategy consultants firms, involved in projects regarding automotive and chemistry industries, Etienne then specialized in mergers and acquisitions with investment banks in Paris. Etienne joined Ricol Lasteyrie in 2003 and gradually focused on strategic advisory and mergers and acquisition and joined the corporate finance practice group. Etienne’s latest involvement included M&A deals in the area of media, hotels and retailing. He was appointed Managing Partner in September 2010.
